Notariety, LLC Refund Policy

Our goal is to provide reliable, professional, and compliant mobile notary services. Our fees are based on the time and travel required to perform our service, whether or not the notarial act is completed. Please review our refund and cancellation policy carefully before booking an appointment.
1. General Policy
All service, travel, and notarial fees are considered earned upon completion of the service. We do not offer refunds for notarial acts that have been successfully performed.

2. Refund Eligibility by Fee Type

Notarial Acts Fee ($10 per signature): This fee is only charged upon the successful completion of a notarial act. If the act is not completed for any reason, this fee will not be charged.

Travel Fee: The travel fee is a non-refundable charge for our time and mileage to travel to your designated location. This fee is earned once the notary has departed for the appointment.

The Travel Fee is non-refundable if:

The notary arrives at the scheduled location and time.

The notarization cannot be completed due to the client's failure to meet the requirements (e.g., signer lacks valid ID, documents are incomplete or not ready, signer is a no-show, signer is not of sound mind).

The appointment is canceled by the client after the notary has already departed for the signing location.

Service Fee: The service fee is for our professional time and expertise.

Full Refund: A full refund of the prepaid service fee will be issued if the notary is unable to perform the service due to the notary's error or a scheduling conflict on our part.

No Refund: No refund will be issued for the service fee if the notarization cannot be completed due to the client's failure to meet the requirements outlined in our Terms and Conditions.

Printing Fee: If you requested printing, the printing fee is non-refundable once the documents have been printed and prepared for travel.

3. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation with More than 2 Hours' Notice: You may cancel or reschedule your appointment with at least 2 hours' notice before the scheduled appointment time to receive a full refund of any prepaid service fees.

Late Cancellation (Less than 2 Hours' Notice): Appointments canceled with less than 2 hours' notice are subject to a late cancellation fee of 50% of the total service fee.

No-Show: If the notary arrives at the scheduled location and time but is unable to perform the service because the client or signer is not present after a 15-minute grace period, this will be considered a "no-show." In this case, all prepaid fees (service and travel) are non-refundable.

4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please contact us at (623) 738-7929 or accounting@notarietyaz.com. All refund requests will be reviewed and processed within 5-7 business days. Approved refunds will be processed to the original method of payment.

5. Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) / Disputed Charges
Any charges that are returned due to insufficient funds in your account will incur a $25 NSF fee in addition to the original charge. In the event of a payment dispute, you agree to refer to these terms of service and refund policy.
